Caterham's story begins with the legendary Lotus Seven. The founder of Caterham, Graham Nearn, acquired the rights to build and sell the Lotus Seven in the early 1960s from Colin Chapman. This move laid the foundation for Caterham Cars Limited, which was officially established in 1973. Since its inception, through the onward evolution of the Seven and a relentless pursuit of driving thrills, Caterham has captivated the hearts of motoring enthusiasts worldwide.

The 360S - Precision, control, finesse.... and brawn

Precision, control, and finesse are fantastic and are present in all Sevens to some degree, but the more experienced Seven driver may start hankering after more brawn.

With the move to more muscle, thanks to a Ford Duratec engine, the Seven 360 adds brute strength to the Seven’s armoury. Now with 180bhp on tap and more low-down torque, we head into more pumped-up territory, with a car just itching for the right driver to take control.

But this bruiser is equally at home as a cruiser. The easy power delivery from the 2.0 litre engine, makes this the benevolent heavyweight of Sevens. Welcoming and fun to its friends, devastating to its rivals.
